About the team and role

Our DevSecOps team is dedicated to ensuring that our company's products and services are secure and resilient in the face of modern cyber threats. We believe in a proactive approach to security and work collaboratively across teams to integrate security into every aspect of our development and operations processes.

As a DevSecOps Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team to help build and maintain our security infrastructure. You will work on projects that focus on integrating security into our development processes, including implementing and maintaining security tools and technologies, designing and implementing security controls, and conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

You will

• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security practices into the development process.

• Help in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security automation and orchestration tools.

• Assist in the development and implementation of secure coding practices.

• Participate in code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

• Work with infrastructure teams to implement secure configuration management practices.

• Assist in the design and implementation of security monitoring and incident response solutions.

You may be a suitable candidate for this role if you

• Are currently enrolled in a computer science, cyber security, or related degree program.

• Have familiarity with software development practices and methodologies, such as agile or DevOps.

• Possess knowledge of security concepts and best practices, including encryption, access control, and threat modeling.

• Have proficiency in at least one programming language, with a willingness to approach and learn new programming languages.

• Understand cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Have a passion for cyber security and a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
